Day 1: Casablanca and Rabat

Collect from your accommodation

Guided tour of Hassan II Mosque, a stunning monument to the late king whose 200 metre-high minaret is the tallest in the world and is one of the only religious sites open to non-Muslims.

Transfer to Rabat and half day city tour of the historical monuments of Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat to Chefchaouen

After breakfast you will transfer to Chefchaouen, ‘The Blue Pearl’, a town nestled between two peaks in the Rif Mountains.

DAY 3: Chefchaouen

Spend the day exploring Morocco’s prettiest town with its striking blue and whitewashed buildings and relaxed atmosphere, cameras are a must!

Day 4: Chefchaouen to Fes

Transfer to Fes stopping for a guided visit of the archeological site of Volubilis, panoramic viewpoint of the holy town Moulay Idriss and a short guided tour of the must-see places of the Imperial city of Meknes

Day 5: Fes

Full day guided city tour of this fascinating ancient city discovering the sights and sounds of the bustling medina with an official local guide.

Day 6: Fes to Merzouga

After breakfast it’s on the road for a full days journey through the spectacular scenery of the Atlas Mountains to the highest sand dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi-Merzouga in the Sahara Desert via Ifrane, Midelt and Errachidia.

Arriving to the desert you will be welcomed with a Moroccan tea before swapping car for camel and starting your trek through the rolling dunes to in time to watch the sunset, returning to your camp to pass the evening around the campfire with dinner and traditional music under the stars.

DAY 7: Merzouga to Skoura

Waking to watch the sunrise over the dunes and returning to your driver on camel back, you will continue the journey through the lush Drâa Valley and on to the sheer rocky cliffs of the Todra and Dades gorges to your destination of Skoura, a wonderful fertile palm filled oasis where you can rest and enjoy an abundance of nature, stopping at Arfoud, Tinejdad and Kelaat M'Gouna (Rose Valley).

DAY 8: Skoura to Marrakech

After breakfast the journey continues to Ouarzazate, nicknamed ‘The Door of the Desert’ and the iconic Ait Benhaddou whose World Heritage site kasbahs have featured in many famous movies. After exploring this area you will take the high road over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, Morocco’s highest pass at 2,260 metres and on to your destination of Marrakech.

DAY 9: Marrakech

Explore the vibrant and intoxicating Red City in a full day Marrakech City Tour including the city’s main places of interest and a guided walk of the medina through the souks with their thrilling colours and scents.

DAY 10: Marrakech

Day in Marrakech – Free time to discover the city, optional activities include cooking class, visit hammam, food tour, excursion trekking in the Atlas with bread making and lunch with local family.

DAY 11: Marrakech to Essaouira

Drive through a region famous for producing the miracle Argan Oil, stopping to visit an Argan Oil Cooperative then venturing on to the easygoing Atlantic seaside town of Essaouira to explore its relaxed whitewashed medina, bustling fishing port and interesting art and cafe scene.
