Day 1: Transfer to Fes
Collect and transfer to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, check-in accommodation, dinner and free time to relax. Overnight in Fes
Day 2- Fez
Full day guided city tour of ancient Fes, it’s huge medieval medina and must-see places. Evening of traditional music and dinner Overnight in Fes
Day 3: Fes – Merzouga, Sahara Desert via Ifrane, Monkeys Road, Midelt, Ziz Valley, Errachidia
Leaving Fes behind you will drive towards Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and Azrou through unique landscapes of cedar and pine forests and a regional home to Barbary Monkeys then on to the gorges and palm oases of Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. After a welcome Moroccan tea it will be time to start the journey on camel back through the sands of Erg Chebbi and watch the sun set over the dunes. Returning to camp, the evening will be set to a backdrop of sand and stars with traditional dinner and music next to an open fire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Dades Valley via Erfoud- Todra Gorge
Waking up early for sunrise over the dunes you can enjoy breakfast before returning to your driver on camel back. Continuing the journey through lush valleys and on to the Todra and Dades Gorges (towering rock formations of over 1000ft) passing Arfoud and Tinejdad, stopping to take a walk or paddle in the river before arriving at your accommodation.

Day 5: Dades Valley- Kelaat M'Gouna (Rose Valley)- Skoura- Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- Tizi n’Tichka Pass- Marrakech
Destination Marrakech but lots to see on the way!
Drive through Kelaat M'Gouna (Rose Valley) and Skoura, a magnificent palm lined oasis on to Ouarzazate (option to visit the Atlas Film Studio and the Kasbah) and the iconic Ait Benhaddou whose World Heritage site kasbah has featured in many famous movies. You will then take the high road over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, Morocco’s highest pass at 2,260 metres and on to your destination of Marrakech.
